Searchable database: Campaign finance donations, city of Tucson 2019

Hundreds of thousands of dollars are pouring into Tucson City Council races, especially for the race to be Tucson's next Mayor.
This database, built from campaign finance records, lists who has donated to the three Democrats and one independent running for Mayor as well as the eight candidates for Council.
A few notes about the data - $500 is the maximum amount allowed by law and while the donor information is required by law, many of the donations come in electronically.
This gives donors fairly wide discretion to describe what they do for a living and where they are employed.
For example, many people opted to write "not employed" but this could mean the person, is self-employed or retired rather than unemployed.
Donations with negative amounts reflect refunds to individuals, primarily due to giving more than allowed by law.
Editor's note: The database will be routinely updated.
