The adoption fee for animals at the Pima Animal Care Center is just $30 through the end of the month, and animals who have been at the shelter more than two weeks can be adopted for free.
There is a $15 licensing fee for dogs.
The adoption fee includes vaccinations and spay/neuter surgery if needed.
The county-run shelter, at 4000 N. Silverbell Road, is open seven days a week — noon-7 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, except the last Sunday of the month.
