Spring is puppy and kitten season, so there are plenty of little furry friends up for adoption at the Pima Animal Care Center.
The county-run shelter is open seven days a week - noon-7 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. It's at 4000 N. Silverbell Road.
