For some people, designing a home entertainment system means deciding where to put the television in relation to the couch, but some consumers want more.
That's where Definitive Home Theater, 3805 W. River Road, Suite 105, comes in. "We do anything audio and visual: surround sound, full-line televisions, full installation and full wiring," said Jason DeCorte, co-owner. "The biggest thing we do here is system design," he said.
Definitive Home Theater tailors the home entertainment system to fit the needs and desires of the customer buying it, so the company gives free consultations.
He or another sales representative first talks to potential customers to "get some ideas of what they're trying to do," and then builds system proposals based on customers' specifications, DeCorte said.
Throughout the buying and ownership process, a customer usually works with the same two employees. "We try to build relationships with the customers," DeCorte said.
