Choirs from nine Tucson-area Presbyterian churches will come together at 3 p.m. Sunday for the Presbyterian Church Choir Festival at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, 7650 N. Paseo del Norte.
The event is free and open to the public. Donations will be accepted for the Presbyterian Campus Ministry, which serves University of Arizona and Pima Community College students.
This is the first time the churches have had a joint concert, according to a press release from St. Mark's.
Other participating churches are Christ Presbyterian, Holy Way Presbyterian, Immanuel Presbyterian, Korean Presbyterian, Northminster Presbyterian, Southside Presbyterian, St. Andrew's Presbyterian and Trinity Presbyterian.
Along with combined choir performances, choirs will sing individually accompanied by instrumentalists from several churches.
