Investigators found what could be considered a suicide note in the home of a missing resort executive, a Pima County Sheriff’s Department official said.
At a news briefing Monday, Deputy Chief Chris Nanos said things were found inside the home of Ann Pardo that indicated she has been going through some personal problems that may have led to depression.
Pardo, 62, who is a director of life management at Canyon Ranch, was last seen by her husband at about 8:30 a.m. last Tuesday. She is said to have left her home without her keys or cellphone.
A ground and air search of a half-mile radius Wednesday did not lead to any clues.
Since then, the Sheriff’s Department has continued pursuing leads, including checking her bank records, according to Nanos. An inquiry with the Tucson International Airport indicated that she has not flown out.

Based on indications of depression, there is a possibility she could have harmed herself, he said, though the search is ongoing and every tip will be checked. There is no indication of foul play in her disappearance.
“The goal here is to get Ms. Pardo back,” Nanos said.
The sheriff’s department is still seeking the public’s help in locating Pardo, he said.Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
