Mild weather Friday in Tucson will be replaced this weekend by stronger winds and a likely rainy Easter Sunday, the weather service says.
Saturday is expected to be area’s windiest day this weekend, with a wind advisory being issued across southeastern Arizona, the National Weather Service in Tucson said Friday.
Sunday’s high temperature in Tucson will drop to about 60 degrees, with chances for rain beginning early in day, forecasters say.
Sustained winds Saturday in Pima and Santa Cruz counties could be about 25 to 35 miles per hour. Gusts could be as high as 45 mph, the forecast says.
Saturday’s high temperature here will be about 80 degrees.
By Sunday, Tucson’s high temperature will drop to about 60 degrees, the weather service says. Rain is possible here beginning early Sunday.
