This over-65 Social Security recipient reads that former President Biden and Daily Star AP news reports, editorials and LTRs say that my promised hard-earned benefits are about to be cut and I should be outraged.
These are the cuts:
-Replacing their obsolete computer system with one ‘cutting’ maintenance jobs. The new system won’t crash.
-Employing AI to answer phones ‘cutting’ thousands of federal employees. If they pick up on the first ring and knowledgeably help me, I don’t care if I’m talking to a human or a robot or a fish.
-‘Cutting’ the number of SSNs that could be used for defrauding our entitlement: those of the obviously deceased, non-citizens and hucksters. Every fraudulent user denied postpones the looming SS insolvency.
I’m going to let DOGE complete its task and I’m pleased that Trump also promises that my SS check will no longer be taxed.
