I’m sure that even ardent MAGA supporters don't want American national security at risk due to inexperience and incompetence, yet that's what we've got.
Donald Trump populated his cabinet as if casting a reality TV show and we’ve ended up with Ted Mack’s Amateur Hour (Gen X or younger, look this up in Wikipedia). Former Fox News personality Pete Hegseth, approved as Secretary of Defense by a one-vote-Veep-tie-breaker, was part of a group chat discussing plans to bomb Houthi sites in Yemen on Signal, a messaging app not approved for national security use. This breach of security was made even worse as the group chat included a journalist with no security clearance. Remember this when our next elections roll around. Also remember that Arizona’s Democratic Senators Kelly and Gallego voted against the poorly vetted Hegseth, and that Arizona's Republican 6th Congressional District Representative Juan Ciscomani offered enthusiastic congratulations to Hegseth after the skin-of-his-teeth confirmation vote.
