I will drink two shots of good tequila tonight, but I don’t feel like partying. I woke up this morning to find my retirement account decimated by 9% overnight. I am now 70 years old. I worked hard all my life in order to save that money. Losing this much in one day is terrifying. Is this how you make America great again, by scaring old people?
I must cut back on everything. Multiply me by maybe millions more and that’s how many people will be forced to cut back. How’s that going to affect the economy? I’m thinking not very well.
Government should do everything possible to prevent economic disasters. This one was done on purpose, by one man.
I’ll be sipping my agave juice tonight, trying to numb my senses and to forget the fear of living old age in poverty.
