As a Congressional representative to the DOGE billionaires, our beloved Marjorie Taylor Greene has echoed Elon Musk's call for de-funding of NPR due to its spewing of “Democrat propaganda.” Government-supported propaganda! Horrendous!
However, she seems to ignore the government support for a mainstay of AM radio: Religious broadcasting, which normally comprises conservative evangelical and Catholic Christian radio stations that are generally dominated by appeals for financial contributions. MTG ignores the fact that these donated funds are totally tax-free for these multimillionaire televangelists! Any listener to these stations knows that they also spew a constant barrage of political advocacy.
