Letter: Washington D.C.

The Democrats' response to Trump cleaning up Washington D.C. is not surprising. The hate for Trump obliterates any rational thought. The crime rate is astonishing, murder, car jacking are a daily occurrence. Teen age gangs are flourishing as they know there will be no consequence for their actions. That is all going to change. The President of the police union supports the action 100% and welcomes the assistance. Defunding the police results in a increase in crime, you don't have to be a mensa to come to that conclusion. I find it difficult to understand the Democratic position. Do they want these blue cities to deteriorate? The U-Haul index shows mass exodus from New York and California. Their tax base is leaving with dwindling funds to spend. The Democratic Party has no game plan, they can't formulate a sentence without mentioning Trump in a negative manner. We have had a two-party system but at this point it is doubtful they will recover.
