Letter: Rex Scott for Supervisor

I have never written a letter to the editor, but I am motivated today to do that in support of Rex Scott, running for reelection to the Pima County Board of Supervisors, District 1. I worked my entire career in the political arena in this community, working both sides of the aisle for moderates. I have seen many candidates and elected officials come and go and know great ones when I see them. Pima County is very fortunate to have Rex Scott serving. The words that come to mind when I think of him are hard-working, responsive, collaborative, and dedicated. He got his start in our community as a teacher and went on to become a principal. I have witnessed a strong commitment to community. Whether it be in early education programs, road repair and maintenance, budget, increased staffing of deputies, or improvement of our parks, he has served with honor and integrity. He deserves our gratitude, and our vote!
