Letter: Progress On civil discourse

I recently wrote a letter asking 4 regular letter contributors to please stop with the ultra attack mode and focus on giving the positive reasons they think their positions are correct. Subsequent letters indicate progress to me. As to Mr. McConnell's latest, I think he illustrates a way forward toward more civil discourse. To those on the left, please tell us why you think he's wrong in urging Biden's use of "surplus funds" is dictatorial. To those on the right regarding Mr. McConnell's championing not placing too much power in any branch of government, please tell us why "Trump 2" doesn't promise to do just that. There are those on the left and right who will continue in full attack mode, but really folks, there are millions upon millions of "Independent Republicrats" who would just like to have a real discussion with each other and you.
