Nov. 6 letter by University of Arizona National Lawyers Guild group

Members of the National Lawyers Guild at the University of Arizona sent out a letter harshly criticizing Israel as a "settler-colonial project" and justifying "resistance" without explicitly defending violence against civilians. Some UA law faculty considered the letter anti-Semitic and decried the response of the law school's dean as insufficient.

For Star subscribers: UA profs of Palestinian and Israeli descent disagree on what constitutes antisemitism, but are open to stricter codes of conduct. Arizona law is strict on campus free speech, though.
