As you probably know, the Oklahoma Sooners who will arrive at McKale Center on Sunday will barely resemble the group that beat Arizona easily last season in Norman.
Here's a rundown of what happened:
The first sign of trouble was that the Sooners lost their final nine games of last season while coach Jeff Capel let it be publicly known that scholarships are not guaranteed.
Then there was the TMZ report that Tiny Gallon accepted a $3,000 wire transfer.
And Tommy Mason-Griffin, whom recruiting diehards might remember as the MVP of the 2008 Arizona Cactus Classic, announced via Facebook that he wasn't returning to the Sooners not long after the season ended.

Sophomore Willie Warren declared for the draft, and he was picked in the late second round by Blake Griffin's Los Angeles Clippers.
In the wake of the NCAA's probe into the Gallon alllegations, assistant coach Oronde Taliaferro resigned. Oklahoma had shared phone records with the NCAA showing Taliaferro had contacted the financial representative involved with Gallon.
Meanwhile, assistant coach Mark Cline left to take a similiar position at Marshall while two players transferred: Guard Ray Willis and center Orlando Allen.
Willis wound up at North Carolina Central while Allen went to Marshall.
Gallon, meanwhile, was drafted in the second round by the Milwaukee Bucks and is now playing in the D-League.Â
Warren made the Clippers' roster and is contributing off the bench.
Mason-Griffin hurt his wrist during a pre-draft workout and while current details on him are hard to find, fellow Houston native Jawann McClellan told me today that Mason-Griffin is back in Houston rehabilitating.Â
