Braxton Burmeister committed to Arizona way back in November of 2014.
Since, he's risen up the recruit rankings, now listed as a 4-star recruit by Scout.com, the No. 17 quarterback overall and the No. 2 quarterback in California. He's from La Jolla Country Day School in the San Diego area.
Over the weekend, Burmeister participated in the Nike Football The Opening Regionals in Los Angeles, where top recruits compete for the chance to be selected for Nike's The Open final taking place in Beaverton, Oregon, in July, along with the Elite 11 quarterback camp also occurring this summer.
Burmeister seems to have impressed some of those in attendance, including a UA target in 5-star corner Darnay Holmes from Calabasas (Calif.) HS.

Also, last week Burmeister added an offer from South Carolina, his seventh offer since committing to the Wildcats. Arizona will certainly have to continue recruiting him. It's last super-early quarterback commitment, 2016 5-star Shea Patterson, eventually re-opened his recruitment and is now set to join Mississippi in the fall.
Here are some of the tweets from the weekend about Burmeister. I'll have more about some other recent recruiting news (and a lot of offers) later on Monday and more this week.
