Malorie Logan, 9, decorated this skull as a tribute to her mom, who is very much alive, during a Día de Los Muertos Sugar Skull Craft event hosted by Flowing Wells library at 1730 W. Wetmore Road. The staff prepared about 50 skulls made with a mixture of granulated sugar, meringue powder and water and set in a mold. The finished white skulls can then be decorated with glitter and paints. The event was also scheduled for several other branch libraries over the weekend to get in the spirit for Dia De Los Muertos. Photo taken Wednesday, October 30, 2013.
