• 1994 - Phillips sells her Tucson house and moves to Aspen, Colo., where she meets Ronald Young, her neighbor.
• April 1996 -Young leaves Aspen. Colorado authorities are investigating him for fraud.
• May 1996 - Prosecutors allege Phillips and Young meet in Denver to begin plotting Triano's death.
• July 1996 - Prosecutors allege Young spends 18 days at a hotel near Triano's home while using an alias.

• October 1996 - Fraud investigators seize contents of Young's rented van after it was found near his parents' California home.
• Nov. 1, 1996 - Triano, 52, dies when a bomb sitting on his passenger seat is remotely detonated at La Paloma Country Club.
• January 1997 - Phillips receives an insurance check for $2 million plus interest.
• November 2005 - "America's Most Wanted" airs a segment on Triano's death. Young is arrested on unrelated charges in Florida two days later. He is questioned in Triano's death and spends three years in federal prison in the unrelated case.
• September 2006 - Phillips' Colorado home is searched.
• November 2007 - Three of Triano's children file a wrongful-death lawsuit against Phillips and Young in Pima County Superior Court.
• October 2008 - Phillips and Young are indicted in Triano's death. Young is arrested in Yorba Linda, Calif. Phillips is in Europe. A warrant is issued for her arrest.
• November 2009 - Phillips is ordered to pay $10 million to Triano's children as a result of the wrongful-death lawsuit.
• December 2009 - Phillips is arrested in Austria.
• Feb. 23, 2010 - Opening statements are heard in Young's first-degree murder trial.
