Get “One on One” Help for Your Technology Issues
The SaddleBrooke Computer Club offers “free” technical help to its members. Topics can range from any technology that you use every day, or something newly purchased. Tech Help sessions available for both PCs & Macs, phones & tablets are scheduled twice a month, nearly every month and are held in the club’s classroom. Registration is limited to four members so visit our website and register for a scheduled session.
For the latest club information and class schedules, visit saddlebrookecc.org. If the selected class is full, submit a request to be placed on the waitlist. The instructor will manage these requests and will contact you directly should cancellations occur. Browse our site to check out all the benefits and classes available to members and the SaddleBrooke community. Membership has its benefits. Take the time to join the club for access to the many Classes offered, the Tech Help sessions, the Tech Talks and the Tech Café breakfasts. Annual dues are only $35, and you receive the benefit of learning from experienced instructors presenting classes that fit your needs.

The Computer Club is focused on teaching technology through classroom events and informing the community about new technologies that can be of benefit to them.
The club also has Monthly scheduled “Tech Talks”. Tech Talks will focus on bringing information on a wide range of technology to all residents of SaddleBrooke through presentations and discussions by local and invited experts. New Technology: Smart Telescopes
Open to all residents of SaddleBrooke.
There was a time when only professional astronomers using giant or space telescopes could take photographs of deep sky objects such as galaxies, nebulae, and star clusters. During the last few years, inexpensive new technology has come on the market, Smart Scopes. These compact combo telescope and camera packages are run by smart phone apps, automatically know where everything is in the sky, and save beautiful photos to your iPhone or Android phone.
Richard Spitzer, Vice-President of the SaddleBrooke Computer Club and organizer of star parties in SaddleBrooke for the SaddleBrooke SkyGazers Astronomy Club will talk about smart scopes in general, demonstrate his Seestar S50 smart scope and show photos he has taken with it.
Do you have any skill in any specific technology or application? Instructors Wanted
If you have knowledge of a particular branch of technology and the ability to teach it, WE NEED YOU! Your knowledge is valuable to the club members and our community. Your participation would be a great help. The club will assist you with preparing a class using the club’s classroom featuring both Windows and Apple products.
The club is also seeking classroom assistants for current class events. To volunteer for any class, send an email to saddlebrookecomputerclub@gmail.com.
