Arizona Lotus is adding a Spanish music station, FM 94.3 La Buena Mas Veriedad.
La Buena will simulcast with 990 AM KTKT starting Jan. 1, Arizona Lotus General Manager Ken Kwilosz announced Friday.
La Buena will offer this nationally syndicated programming, starting Jan. 5:
- Mornings with Alex “El Genio” Lucas from 5 a.m. to 11 a.m. and Saturdays 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.
- Middays with Rosmar Vega from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Drive home with “El Show de Erazno la Chokolata” from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- Nights and weekends: A mix of artists with a regional flavor.
“We are extremely happy to offer ... a variety of top nationally recognized shows in this community,” program director Enrique Mayans said in a news release. “La Buena will serve as a complement with our sister station, KCMT La Caliente.”

La Buena will primarily target 35- to 54-year-old listeners with adult format hits of the ’90s and ’80s, with some ’70s hits and current tunes, Mayans said in an interview.
