Los Locos Tacos will give St. Patrick’s Day revelers an Irish meal with a twist at Button Brew House, 6800 N. Camino Martin, this Saturday, March 17.
The food truck will have “Irish tacos” available for purchase, in addition to its regular menu fare, from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the brewery parking lot.
Truck owner John Barthel, who opened Los Locos in May of last year, wanted to offer his customers something different on his first St. Patrick’s Day in business.
“I’m hoping it’s going to make for a good meal,” he said. “I’m trying to be creative with it.”

At $3 apiece, the "Irish tacos" will consist of slices of corned beef, finished off with a Sonoran rub, and topped in a spicy chipotle cabbage slaw.
Customers get their choice of flour or corn tortillas.
Barthel expects his fusion meal will go well with the rotating beer selections at Button.
“If they work on Saturday, they are definitely going on the regular menu,” he said.
