Hundreds of teachers, support staff, parents and students around the Tucson area joined Tucson Unified School District employees for a Stand Out on Broadway Road on April 25, 2018. The educators had planned to have groups stretching from downtown to Houghton Road in advance of the statewide teacher walk out that forced closure of all Tucson-area school districts.
