A romantic dinner out for Valentine’s Day? Yeah, once you have kids that’s a lot harder to pull off.
But, you can celebrate the lovey-dovey occasion with the little boogers if you couldn’t nab a sitter.

1. Doughnuts. Dunkin’ Donuts has special, filled treats.
2. 'Za. Grandma Tony’s Pizza (starting Friday-Sunday) and Magpies Gourmet Pizza (starting Friday) are all offering their goods in the holiday-appropriate shape. Fresco Pizzeria and Pastaria on East Speedway makes heart-shaped pizzas as well.
3. You can pre-order bagels — guess in what shape? — from both Einstein Bros. Bagels and Bruegger's Bagels for pickup Friday or Saturday.
4. Sugar cookies. Beyond Bread — which has three locations around town — has some already printed with messages or get a custom sweet nuthin' written while you wait. Fresco is making heart-shaped shortbread treats.

5. Fruit Tart. Again at Beyond Bread, the bakery's offering its traditional 9-inch tart in heart form. Bonus: You can get chocolate-dipped strawberries, too. Not exactly heart-shaped, but who doesn't love them?
