Of the dozen humans who have walked on the moon, six of the surviving nine will attend Spacefest IV, a celebration of all things space.
Geoffrey Notkin, the host of "Meteorite Men," will talk and sell meteorites.
And those are just a few of the luminaries who will speak or make appearances during the conference (Did we mention Richard Hatch from "Battlestar Galactica"?).
"A lot of these people are very well known on the Discovery Channel," said Sally Poor, who produces the event with her husband, Kim. The couple own Novaspace, a Tucson-based mail-order business specializing in astronomical art and astronaut autographs.
Last year's event drew about 1,200 people, but the Poors are expecting more next weekend, based on preregistrations.
The conference is also packed with lectures, vendors, book signings and an auction.
