The slaying of a 26-year-old Tucson man last November will be featured on “The First 48,” a reality series based on homicide investigations around the country.
The show, which airs tonight at 9 p.m. on A&E, will follow Tucson Police homicide detectives as they investigate the shooting death of Manuel F. Fimbres-Moreno who was fatally wounded after getting into an argument with someone west of Downtown Nov. 14.
According to police, the shooter and Fimbres-Moreno were standing next to a vehicle arguing before neighbors reported hearing as many as five shots in the 800 block of West Alameda Street, near West Congress Street and North Grande Avenue.
Fimbres-Moreno was struck at least three times and pronounced dead shortly after arriving at University Medical Center.
Daniel Vega Haros, who police say was an acquaintance of Fimbres-Moreno, was arrested on a first-degree murder charge.
