A man was shot in the face at an East Side apartment complex this evening during a fight at the complex’s swimming pool, a Tucson police spokesman said.
The man sustained non-life-threatening injuries when he was shot at 6:40 p.m. Saturday at the Tanque Verde Apartments, 7671 E. Tanque Verde Road, said Sgt. Fabian Pacheco, a Tucson police spokesman.
The altercation involved people who were gathered at the swimming pool, Pacheco said.
Police are still looking for the assailant.
