A Tucson youth soccer referee and tournament organizer was arrested Tuesday in connection with sharing child pornography on the Internet, police said.
Ryan Van Dyck, 29, of the 3000 block of West Sun Ranch Trail, was booked into the Pima County jail on suspicion of 20 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, said Sgt. Chris Widmer, a Tucson Police Department spokesman.
Van Dyck, president and general manager of Premier Landscaping, lives in a neighborhood west of North Shannon Road, and north of West Sumter Drive.
In July, the department's Internet crimes agains children unit received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that someone in the Tucson-area was sharing child pornography on the Internet, Widmer said.
An investigation led detectives to Van Dyck's home, and detectives found evidence that implicated Van Dyck as the suspect involved in the downloading and sharing of child pornography, Widmer said.

Van Dyck is involved at the local, county and national levels of youth soccer, and the organizations he is associated with include the Pima County Soccer League, the Soccer Federation Referee Program and the Arizona Interscholastic Association, said Widmer.
Van Dyck also advertises locally for piano lessons for children ages 6 to 14, Widmer said.
