A tropical storm that hit Tucson brought rain into the evening Wednesday, and patchy fog is forecast for early Thursday morning.
Fog and scattered showers are expected to greet the Old Pueblo and by Thursday afternoon isolated thunderstorms will hit the city, according to the National Weather Service.
The high is expected to reach between 79 to 84 degrees, and the low between 57 to 63 degrees. On Friday through the weekend, it is expected to be mostly clear and sunny, says the weather service.
Flood advisories were issued by the weather service Wednesday evening through 10:15 p.m.
Meanwhile, during the day it rained throughout the Tucson metropolitan area, and storms continued into Cochise and Graham Counties, said Jeff Davis, a meteorologist for the National Weather Service Tucson office.

As of 8 p.m. Wednesday, Mount Lemmon had 3.31 inches of rain over the previous 24 hours, Pima County Flood Control District remote sensors show.
Heavy showers in the city hit the East Golf Links Road and South Kolb Road area, with 1.54 inches of rain, according to the sensors. Other sensor rain readings show Golder Ranch with 0.55 of an inch; 0.47 of an inch at the Santa Cruz River and Continental Road in Green Valley; and 0.67 of an inch at East Glenn Street and Alamo Wash, and at Mescal.
Tucson Electric Power Co. reported power outages affecting more than 1,500 customers Wednesday, and crews worked throughout the day to make repairs.
