In fact, for Rio Cancion Apartments, south of River Road and east of Campbell Avenue, it took more than 500 workers to complete the $15 million project. It also takes a lot of material. According to the developers, the Bohm Co., they used 3.3 million board feet of lumber, more than 325,000 square feet of floor covering, 200,000 roofing tiles, 7,500 cubic yards of concrete, 3,500 doors, 2,500 appliances, 1,500 windows and sliding-glass doors, 900 trees and 33 miles of rebar.
