A 25-year-old motorcyclist killed in a crash this week on Tucson's southeast side has been identified.
Jacob Mikal Jacome struck a vehicle about 7:40 p.m. Tuesday on East Golf Links Road at South Country Shadows Drive, near South Houghton Road, Tucson police said Friday in a news release.
Initial findings indicate Jacome was riding a Yamaha off-road dirt bike west on Golf Links Road when he struck a BMW 135 turning left from Country Shadows Drive. The Yamaha was not street legal, lacked lights and Jacome was not wearing a helmet, the release said.
Jacome died at the crash scene.
The driver of the BMW was not injured.
No citations or charges are expected to be issued, the release said.
