New mural celebrates Tucson's Sugar Hill neighborhood
A new mural, designed by Ndubisi Okoye of Detroit, that celebrates the people and history of Tucson’s Sugar Hill neighborhood was recently completed. The mural at Max’s Center Attractions, 2032 N. Stone Ave., is part of the neighborhood-enrichment initiative by the city’s Housing and Community Development Department. The mural is a collaboration with the Arts Foundation for Tucson and Southern Arizona and the Sugar Hill Neighborhood Association.
