Pima Community College has hired two new campus presidents.
Luba Chliwniak will be president of the Downtown Campus. She has 26 years of experience as a community college administrator, including local jobs with Cochise College, PCC and Apollo College. She is currently a vice president at the Niagara County Community College in New York. She has a doctorate in higher education from the University of Arizona.
Alex Kajstura will be president of the Northwest Campus. He has 19 years of community college administration experience. He is currently the provost at Tidewater Community College in Virginia. He has a doctorate in higher-education administration from Southern Illinois University.
The new hires were approved by the college governing board on Wednesday.
Additionally, Community Campus President Sylvia Lee is retiring next month after 15 years at PCC. The college plans to then make Provost Suzanne Miles president of that campus in addition to her role as provost.

The other campus presidents are Louis Albert at West Campus, Johnson Bia at Desert Vista Campus and Charlotte Fugett at East Campus.
