Volunteer service leaders: Service leaders make a commitment to manage a volunteer project for a few hours each week or month. Leaders serve as the primary contact for each project. They help recruit and manage volunteers, attend the project, report attendance and provide feedback.
Development manager: This agency's mission is to preserve and protect the nighttime environment and our heritage of dark skies through environmentally responsible outdoor lighting. Volunteers are needed to help develop and expand education programs to serve more students and help cities save money by writing grants and sponsorships and creating campaigns. Needed skills include online research, writing, membership development and a desire to promote STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education.

Volunteer with veterans: Volunteers are needed to help with patients, records and equipment throughout a hospital; do general clerical duties; call patients to remind them about scheduled appointments; and visit homebound veterans.
