Mandatory application workshop schedule
Proposals for the second round of the Southern Arizona Compassion Initiative funding are due by 3 p.m. Oct. 1. Send proposals to: United Way, 330 N. Commerce Park Loop, Suite 200, Tucson, AZ 85754. Groups applying for funding must attend one of the following workshops:
● Wednesday 10 a.m.-noon, Catalina Senior Center, 16701 N. Oracle Road, No. 145, Catalina
● Thursday, 8-10 a.m., United Way, 330 N. Commerce Park Loop, Ste. 200. Other dates and times at the same location are: Sept. 21, 3-5 p.m. and Sept. 27, 5-7 p.m.
● Aug. 31, 9-11 a.m., Capilla del Sol Christian Church, 3130 W. Overton Road
● Sept. 1, 3-5 p.m., Pima Council on Aging, 8467 E. Broadway
● Sept. 8, 5-7 p.m., Sam Lena Library, 1607 S. Sixth Ave. - in English and Spanish
