Tucson Water has isolated a break in a water line and stopped the flow after about 90 minutes, a spokesman said tonight.
A 12-inch water line had a break on Thornydale north of Ina, said Fernando Molina, public information officer for Tucson Water.
Media received calls from residents who said they were out of water tonight as a result of the break, but Molina said he didn't know how many customers might have been affected by low water pressure or lack of water. All service should be restored as of 9 p.m., he said.
