A monsoon storm brought widespread rain and knocked out power to hundreds of Tucson Electric Power customers Wednesday night.
The storm hit most areas of Tucson, with the Tanque Verde area getting the most rain, according to Pima County Flood Control District rain gauges.
Agua Caliente Park, near East Roger Road and North Soldier Trail, and some other nearby areas in Tanque Verde received more than two inches of rain.
Some areas on the north side received more than a half-inch of rain, including the Alamo Wash at East Glenn Street.
About 1,200 customers lost power. Most of those customers lived in Green Valley, according to TEP.
