More than 15 years after a 5-year-old boy was killed by a drunk driver as he slept in the living room of his Tucson home, authorities are still searching for the woman responsible.
Tonight the search will be broadcast nationwide on "America's Most Wanted" on Fox Channel 11, KMSB-TV, at 8 p.m.
This will be the sixth time the real-crime TV show makes a plea to the public to help locate Michele Comstock, according to Avery Mann, a spokesman for the show.
On Dec. 1, 1990, Comstock's blue Lincoln Continental careened into a home around 1 a.m. and crushed Collin Gunning, according to Arizona Daily Star archives.
When Collin's father arrived in the living room, he found Comstock crawling out of her passenger window. She then ran away.
Police eventually tracked Comstock down at her home a few blocks away. They said she was obviously intoxicated. But soon enough, Comstock would be on the run again, missing her trial, which was held nearly two years later, archives show.

A jury convicted her of manslaughter, leaving the scene of an accident and two counts of driving under the influence. She was acquitted on an aggravated assault charge involving Collin's sister, who was also in the living room, watching a video.
Back in 1993, after "America's Most Wanted" profiled the case, authorities received about 100 tips that Comstock was living in Mazatlan, archives show.
Even though so much time has passed, authorities say they have not given up.
"Of course we are still looking for her," said Deputy Dawn Barkman, a Pima County Sheriff's Department spokeswoman. "We'll always be looking for her, because we want to see justice served. We want to see her take responsibility for what she has done."
Attempts by the Star to reach the Gunning family were unsuccessful.
