Every Wednesday this summer, Golf N' Stuff is more rocking than any high school pep rally.
From 7 p.m. to midnight, the family fun park at 6503 E. Tanque Verde Road becomes the summer hot spot for Tucson teens. The Teen Jam, hosted by 93.7 KRQ, brings out on average 600 to 700 kids per night, said KRQ DJ Seth O'Brien.
"It's a great location. Golf N' Stuff is just a fun place to be," O'Brien said between radio duties. O'Brien does his show live from the event, although the radio station plays different music on the dance floor than what's broadcast.
"This is the closest thing to a real club that the kids can get," he said.
With a large outdoor dance floor, most of the teens congregate there. In addition to the dancing, the teens can play golf, video games and race go-carts.

The Teen Jam has been a big success, with more than 1,000 people attending one Wednesday last summer, O'Brien said.
"The phone is always flooded with people trying to get tickets," said O'Brien, the 6 p.m. to midnight DJ at KRQ.
"I wouldn't have to say a word (on air) and we'd have 700 kids here. I get calls on my show all week long."
Admission is $8 to get in the door; for $13, kids can get a round of miniature golf, a soda and 16 tokens. Both tickets will get the teens to where everyone hangs out: the dance floor.
