Shalom Tucson will present its eighth annual Gateway to Our Synagogues from 10:30 a.m. to noon Sunday at the Tucson Jewish Community Center, 3800 E. River Road, for newcomers and anyone interested in hearing about Tucson's synagogues.
It's also a chance to learn about High Holiday services, religious schools, teen groups, facilities and programs, said Anne Lowe, director of outreach for the Jewish Federation of Southern Arizona and director of Shalom Tucson.
The free event is one of Shalom Tucson's most popular Sunday morning bagel brunch programs.
Attendees will be able to chat with representatives from each of Tucson's congregations, many of which will have open houses at their places of worship after the bagel brunch, or the following Sunday.
Shalom Tucson is a project of the Jewish Federation of Southern Arizona and the Tucson Jewish Community Center. Call Anne Lowe at Shalom Tucson, 577-9393, Ext. 130, to make reservations to attend.
