Zoo celebrates International Year of the Bat
A bat skeleton encased in a plastic block is on exhibit at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum table during the Going Batty for Bats special event at the Reid Park Zoo, 1100 S. Randolph Way. Going Batty for Bats, held Saturday, celebrated the International Year of the Bat and featured information tables, interactive activities and crafts for families. Docents from the zoo were joined by docents from the Desert Museum and Tohono Chul Park to help out and provide information to visitors.
