Are you interested in trying your luck at the Pima Animal Care Center this month?
In honor of St. Patrick’s Day, adopters will get a chance to get $10, $20 or $30 off the adoption price.
The adoption fee is $30 for dogs, cats, puppies and kittens, plus a $15 licensing fee for dogs.
There is no cost to adopt a special-needs pet, except the $15 dog licensing fee when applicable. “Special needs” can describe anything from a dog who has kennel cough to a cat who needs dental care, or an animal who needs socialization skills.
When adopters go to the licensing window to complete their transaction, they’ll choose a gold-colored coin for a chance to get $10, $20 or $30 off the adoption price.
The county-run shelter, at 4000 N. Silverbell Road, is open seven days a week — noon-7 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, except the last Sunday of the month.
