Oracle State Park, about 40 minutes north of Tucson, reopened Saturday after being closed since October 2009 due to state budget cuts.
The 4,000-acre park and wildlife refuge will be open Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through April 28.
Guided tours of the historic Kannally Ranch House are offered at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturdays.
The park features picnic sites and 15 miles of trails for hiking, biking and horseback riding.
It costs $7 per vehicle to enter the park, or you can buy an annual Arizona State Park pass. Cost is $75 for the standard pass.
The park will host educational programs for schoolchildren and Scouts by reservation in February, March, April, September, October and November. Go to azstateparks.com for more information on the field trips offered and how to schedule one.

How to get there
To get to Oracle State Park from Tucson, take Highway 77 (Oracle Road) north. Continue on Highway 77 as it curves east at Oracle Junction. Turn right off Highway 77 at the Oracle turnoff. Follow the road through Oracle (American Avenue) 2.3 miles to Mount Lemmon Road. Turn right on Mount Lemmon Road. Follow it 1.1 miles to the park entrance. The park is located on the left (north) side of Mount Lemmon Road.
