An extreme heat warning has been issued for the Tucson area from Thursday through Sunday.
The high temperature here is expected to be 108 degrees Thursday, the National Weather Service in its Tucson forecast. It’ll be 110 on Friday and 111 on Saturday, the Tucson forecast shows.
Sunday’s high will be 109.
Lows will be in the mid-80s, and no chance of rain is forecast until Sunday night, when there’s a 30% chance of storms.
The Tucson area will be under an extreme heat warning from Thursday through Sunday, the weather service says.
