Arizona has one of the longest and most confusing ballots, especially with all the propositions. It’s hard to be an informed voter and know how to vote on them. Here’s a rule of thumb that works just about all the time. If the proposition is sponsored by the state legislature, vote no! Such propositions are usually attempts to water down or overturn citizen initiatives, to push through a measure that could not get through the normal legislative process, or to get a “red meat” issue on the ballot to try to bring out certain voters. Please vote carefully – but vote!
