The Verde Sputters enjoyed the cool spring weather and brought their skill and a bit of luck to the green in March. The March leprechaun didn’t produce a pot “o”gold, but there were 25 money hole winners in March! All women who are not part of a sanctioned 9-hole or 18-hole golf league are invited to join, even if they’ve never picked up a putter. Simply grab a putter, a ball, and a bottle of water and arrive at the main putting green behind the HOA One Clubhouse at 9:30 a.m. on Mondays (later if there’s a frost delay). What could be easier? (Beginning May 11 registration is 8:30 with 9AM putting.
In March: Turning in FIVE holes in one this month and winning a $25 prize is Debbie Flato! FOUR holes in one were achieved by Heather Griffin (2), Marilyn Palatas, Sue Ryan and Shauna Rand. THREE holes in one were achieved by Tana Neibauer, Reba Johnson, Pam Young, Laurie Miller, Donna Gruninger, Gail Goede, Opal Larkin, Hazel Roper (2), Sandy Ripley, Kathy Bigos, Heather Griffin, Cathy Howard, Virginia LaBar, Linda Malone, Carol Jones, and Shauna Rand.
Low scores for the month of February (39 and below) are recognized with a star on the player’s name badge. The three lowest scores achieved for 18 holes putted were:

• Score of 35: Hazel Roper, Sue Ryan
• Score of 36: Reba Johnson, Sheelagh Simson, Laura Berkley, Opal Larkin
