Madison Chock and Evan Bates won their second straight Skate America and fourth title overall on Sunday with a spectacular free skate set to music from Pink Floyd's “The Dark Side of the Moon.” The reigning world champions finished well clear of Marjorie Lajoie and Zachary Lagha of Canada and French national champions Evgeniia Lopareva and Geoffrey Brissaud.

Eighteen-year-old Ilia Malinin romped to his second consecutive Skate America title on Saturday night in Texas, scoring 310.47 points to easily outdistance second-place Kevin Aymoz of France. Malinin landed four quads during his program on his way to the best score of his career.
