El Día de San Juan is an annual summer event to celebrate the coming monsoon season and honor St. John the Baptist (patron saint of WATER).
Local tradition hails St. John as the one who brings our rain and his fiesta features a procession, live music and dance, food, arts and crafts, games, activities for kids and an outdoor screening of the movie "Rango" (presented by The Loft Cinema) at 7:30 p.m.

Admission is free but be sure to bring some money for food and refreshments.
Where: Mercado San Augustin 100 S. Avenida del Convento — the corner of Avenida del Convento and Congress.
