Upward pressure on price of gasoline eases a bit
The rate of increase in gasoline prices slowed this week, as Tucson's average price went up a penny and a half per gallon.
That brings the average price here to $3.63 for regular, AAA Arizona's weekly survey showed Thursday.
Arizona's average rose about 1 cent per gallon to $3.76.
This week's national average is $3.98 per gallon, down by less than 1 cent from last week, AAA says.
County center is easy way to find teen summer help
Local businesses can hire teen help this summer at no cost to themselves, through the Pima County One Stop Career Center's Summer Youth Employment Program.

People ages 14 to 21 can work for a business as temporary, subsidized employees. The program provides minimum wage, $7.35, for the young workers.
The county received about 3,900 applications from young people this year for about 1,400 jobs spread over several weeks this summer, said Dana Katbah, program manager. So far, employers include CAID Industries, Tower Theatres, Pima Animal Care Center, Pima County Superior Court and Pima County Public Library.
The youths attend a one-day workshop, where they learn about good work habits and employer expectations, before they go to work.
