Yamada, recently of Jamaica, is Westward Look's new GM
Westward Look Wyndham Grand Resort & Spa named David Yamada as general manager.
With 25 years of hospitality experience, Yamada comes to Tucson most recently from Kingston, Jamaica, where he managed the Wyndham Kingston Hotel.
He is a certified trainer for Wyndham Hotels and Resorts.
Westward Look Wyndham, an AAA Four Diamond Award recipient, is celebrating its centennial.
Pima East Campus taps Yoklic as acting VP
Deborah Yoklic was named acting vice president of instruction at Pima Community College's East Campus.
She will fill the position temporarily vacated by Lorraine Morales, who was named acting president of PCC's Community Campus last month.

Yoklic has worked at PCC since 1983 as a full-time member of the mathematics faculty; acting dean for languages and social sciences at West Campus; chair of the Mathematics and Engineering Department at East Campus; and, for the past two years, as assistant vice chancellor.
Yoklic has a master's degree in mathematics from the University of Arizona and a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Brandeis University.
Mosley, Hawman and Seng join Youth on Their Own
The local nonprofit Youth on Their Own named three new staff members:
• Tony Mosley, program director. A Tucson native, he graduated from Pueblo High School, where he was a basketball player, and went on to earn his bachelor's degree in business communications from Northern Arizona University.
After working in Los Angeles as an actor and director, he returned to Arizona, earned his master's degree in educational counseling, and worked as a counselor.
• Sasha Hawman, student advocate. Hawman was born in Moscow and placed into an orphanage as an infant. An American couple adopted him and his brother and moved them to Oregon and then, in 2001, to Tucson, where Hawman graduated from Sabino High School. He received a bachelor's degree in environmental services and is now pursuing his master's degree in public administration, both at the University of Arizona.
• Deb Seng, operations/grant manager. Seng received her graduate and undergraduate degrees in psychology from Trinity International University. She has worked in counseling, coaching and public speaking for two decades. She holds a number of national and international faith-based credentials in the human services field.
Kafora is executive director of La Cañada Care Center
La Cañada Care Center appointed David Kafora as executive director.
Kafora previously was vice president of Life Care Centers of America's Saguaro Region and worked for Arizona Baptist Retirement Centers in several positions, including vice president of operations and executive director of several buildings.
He formerly served as a Medical Service Corps officer in the U.S. Air Force.
Kafora has a master's degree in business administration with a concentration on human resources.
Truly Nolen names Marchello national corporate recruiter
Tucson-based Truly Nolen named Nan Marchello corporate national recruiter.
Since September, Marchello has been developing a recruitment and sourcing plan for Truly Nolen's 80 offices in Arizona, California, Florida, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas and Utah, the company said in a news release.
Marchello's career spans more than 20 years, and has included positions as a recruiter for Schwan's Sales Enterprises and as vice president of staffing for Americare Employers Group. She has also worked for G&K Services and WinMar Group.
